Unfortunately, Kaitlin Whipple 20 years, managed to swallow the diamond band whole as she raced friends to finish their dessert at a Wendy’s diner. As proposals go it was certainly memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. The couple, from Farmington – New Mexico, ended up at hospital where an x-ray confirmed what had happened.
“Google” discovered marijuana plantation
Police in Switzerland by the accident, using the “Google” service for satellite mapping of the Earth, discovered marijuana plantations in the county Thurgau to the North East of country. The result was the arrest 16 people, seizure of 1.2 tons of marijuana and about half a million euros.
Rescue mission in Tasmania
More than a hundred residents of an Australian island pitched in to help save dozens of pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins that had stranded on a beach Sunday night. A study has found that removing the tears out of pictures of people crying reduces the sadness that viewers perceive in the photos, even though the rest of the expression remains intact. The research subjects said when the tears were digitally erased, the faces’ emotional content became ambiguous, ranging from awe-filled to puzzlement.

Animal activists criticized the new attraction saying it was taunting the crocodile and intruding in his environment but the staff says the animal has been given a home and is treated like a king, a much better alternative than death.
