Aceasta prezentare de begonii este amplasata la fiecare doi ani in piata centrala pentru cateva zile la mijlocul lui August, si evident, atrage foarte multi turisti. Modelul covorului de flori se bazeaza pe un desen medieval de covor. Primul covor de begonii a fost “montat” in centrul orasului in 1971 cu scopul promovarii begoniilor. The foreign exchange company Travelex asked for, and the scientists from the National Space Center and the University of Leicester designed it: it is called the Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination (Quid) and it is designed to withstand the stresses of space travel and has no sharp edges or chemicals that could hurt space tourists.

So, in case if you have to travel intergalatically, take some Quids with you.

in 1831, ce credeati? Am primit aseara de la Oana, careia ii multumesc foarte mult, un document extrem de interesant cu istoria Bucurestiului. Sunt foarte multe lucruri interesante, pe unele le stiati cu siguranta, pe altele le veti afla citind micul serial ce l-am pregatit pentru voi. Fotografii vechi cu cladiri ce nu mai exista din pacate, dar si cu unele ce au rezistat timpului, putina istorie desigur si multa nostalgie. Astazi episodul 1.
