A friend of mine just reminded me today about Julian Beever. English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Julian Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle. It’s amazing!

This short film (only two minutes), it is a touching retrospective of an old man’s life, based around the evocative imagery created by his piano playing. Beautiful animation created by Aidan Gibbons, student at University of Hertfordshire. The short animation film called ‘The Piano’ will make you feel the beauty plus the sadness in life more than any other animated film, and the remarkable thing is it’s only two minutes long. The composer of the music in the video is Yann Tiersen. If you’ve seen the movie ‘Amelie’, Yann wrote the music specifically for the movie. Very beautiful artist compilation that is sophisticated and creatively fun.
