For this Valentine’s Day I planned to write a beautiful story. Something to touch your soul and impress your eyes, something you will not find on other websites or newspapers or magazines … I don’t even dare to write a love story because I am more than convinced the lovers will argue that their story is unique and inimitable (and why should I disappoint them destroying their illusions and tell them that everything they are living today was lived, felt and done before so many times).
Still, a story for you is prepared; there are several in fact, told by images, and they don’t belongs to me, but they gave me the idea just after I discovered this charming and unique story-teller (observing and analyzing one of his projects: The UNESCO National Heritage, project done hundred percent by him without any guidance, help or even thanks). Therefore, after an amazing experience seeing that slide-show, I’ve visited his website. An interesting and tempting motto is there to welcome you and to aware you that everything that is going to happen is only your input, it’s totally your „fault”, as the credit is: „I shall tell you an amazing story. Your story.” …
If you see his photos and you don’t know who’s the artist, you could swear that a woman is behind them: it’s so much warmth, tenderness, natural, joy enclosed in his photos, the daintiness is in there (not because the beauty doesn’t exist but to be absolutely perfectness) so you can’t believe that this rare kind of men still exists on this planet; through his eyes you can see the people in the happiest moments of their life: engagement, marriage, welcoming a new baby, in a single word: LOVE.
Cosmin Danila is a photographer specialized in weddings, lovers or hopeless romantics. Sitting in my armchair I take a look one more time through his albums and I invite you all to do the same, and no matter if you have or haven’t found your soul mate yet, I am sure you will enjoy being a part of all the wonderful stories told by Cosmin.
A cocktail in a hand, the beautiful decorations for tables, flowers, chairs, lampion, cutlery, plates, exotic dishes, everything is prepared, apparels in bright colors, women with wet lips and flowers in their hair, wistful but protective (in the same time) men, kisses stolen by Cosmin’s camera, dance, joy, pairs of lovers of all ages …
My story is almost ending, the stars are back to their homes, they framed some of their favorite pictures and hanged them strategically in living-rooms as a reminder (when and if they will forget) that they promised to each other to be happy for the rest of their lives and not the least to show them to friends and later to their children and grand-children.
